Looking for the original factory sticker?
Many people searching for a “window sticker by VIN” want the original Monroney label: the sticker a new vehicle wore at the dealership, with its exact factory options and original price. This tool doesn’t recreate that label. It builds a clear, professional dealer window sticker from what the VIN tells us — the specifications, standard equipment and official fuel economy — plus the details you add. For a used vehicle on your lot, that’s usually exactly what shoppers need to see.
New vehicles must keep their Monroney label until they’re sold, so use this for used and certified pre-owned vehicles. More in used car window stickers and the FTC Buyers Guide, explained.
How it works
- Enter the VIN and press Decode. The specs, equipment and fuel economy fill in.
- Add your details: price, mileage, colour and a few highlights, plus your dealership name and colour at the top.
- Print it free with a free account, on regular letter paper, or save it as a PDF. The matching FTC Buyers Guide is one click away.
Good to know
Is the window sticker maker free?
Yes. Decoding a VIN and building the sticker is free and needs no account. To print it or save it as a PDF, create a free DealerAdGen account (no credit card); your sticker comes with you.
Is this the original factory (Monroney) sticker?
No. This makes a dealer window sticker from the VIN’s decoded specifications and the EPA’s fuel economy data. It isn’t a copy of the original Monroney label, which lists the exact factory options and the original sticker price.
Where does the information come from?
Specifications and standard safety equipment come from the US government’s NHTSA VIN decoder, and fuel economy from the EPA’s fueleconomy.gov. You can edit anything before you print.
Does it work for Canadian dealers?
Yes. Choose Canada and the sticker shows kilometres and fuel economy in L/100 km.
Can I add a QR code?
Yes. Paste the link to the vehicle’s page on your website and the sticker prints a QR code shoppers can scan for photos and details.
