Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DealerAdGen (dealeradgen.com and the app at dealeradgen.com/app) handles personal information. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text) and, if you add them, your dealership name, phone, website, city and team members’ emails.
• Your content: logos, vehicle photos, text, vehicle links and the ads, videos and captions you make.
• Billing: your plan and payment status. Card details go straight to our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage: what you make and which buttons you use (for example credits used, and errors), so we can run the service, fix problems and plan improvements.
• Messages: what you send through our contact form.
• Website visits: pages viewed and basic device information, through Google Analytics and a privacy-focused analytics script.

The free tools

The window sticker maker, Buyers Guide maker and caption generator work without an account. VINs and details you type are sent to our servers and to public vehicle data services (the US government’s NHTSA and EPA) to fill in the results. A sticker draft is also saved in your own browser so you can continue later. The caption generator sends the details you type to an AI writing service. The free sample page (/try) reads the vehicle page whose link you paste, to build your sample. Please do not type personal information such as names or phone numbers of customers into the free tools.

How we use it

• To run DealerAdGen: sign you in, make your ads, store them, bill you and give support.
• To keep the service safe, stop abuse and limit free use.
• To understand and improve the product.
• We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploads or ads to train our own AI models.

Companies that help us

We use these companies to run the service. They handle data only to do their job for us, and follow their own rules:

• Hosting and database: Netlify and Supabase (accounts, your saved ads and your uploads).
• AI image, video and text: kie.ai and OpenRouter, and the AI models they run. Your prompts, photos and logos are sent to them to make your results.
• Payments: Stripe.
• Website statistics: Google Analytics and a second tool that counts visits without tracking people across sites.
• Our own tools: software we use to keep records of activity, support requests and contact messages.
• Videos: training videos on our site are loaded from YouTube only when you press play.

These providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your ads while your account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete your account and your content within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires (like payment records), and backups that are deleted on a regular schedule. The AI companies that help us may keep prompts and images for a short time under their own rules. Free tool inputs are not tied to an account.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete ads in the app, and change your dealership details at any time.
• To see, correct or delete your information, or to close your account, send us a message. Use the email address of your account so we can check it is you. We reply within 30 days.
• If you live in a place with privacy rights (for example California, or Canada), you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information, and to know who we share it with. Send us a message and we will help.
• You can block analytics with your browser settings or an extension.

Security and children

We use secure connections and trusted providers, but no online service is perfectly secure. DealerAdGen is for businesses and is not meant for people under 18.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Contact us. See also our Terms of Service.
